Asian Football Confederation abbreviated as AFC is the major administrative or governing body of Asian football.It was founded on 8th May 1954(59 years back from present date) with the motto of “The Future is Asia”. At present,its has 47 national associations as its members.Its headquater is located at Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia .Current president of AFC is Salman Al-Khalifa of Qatar.
Asian Cup ,AFC Champions League,AFC Challenge Cup and AFC President Cup are the major tournaments organized by AFC under the affiliation with FIFA.

Likewise, OFC stands for Oceania Football Confederation.It is the administrative body of football association of oceanic countries.It has 14 members with only 11 full memberships(comprises countries like New Zealand,Tonga,Fiji,Tahiti,etc. and ).It was founded on 15th November 1966.Its headquater is at Auckland,New Zealand.David Chung is the president of OFC.
As like other continental bodies it is also affiliated to FIFA.
