CAF

      CAF that stands for Confederation of African Football is the major governing or administrative body of  football for African countries.It was founded on  6^th october 1957.Its headquqter is situated at Egypt.It comprises of 56 member associations(with countries like Ghana,Togo,Ivory Coast,Cameron,Nigeria,Egypt,Senegal,etc).Current president of the confederation is Issa Hayatou.

  CAF represents the national football association of Africa,runs continental,national and club competition and controls the prize money,regulations and media rights to those competitions.African Cup of Nations(AFCON) is the major tournament organized by CAF.

   It is one of the biggest of six continental confederations of FIFA.(Second biggest after UEFA).It uses English,French and Arabic language as its official language.
