CONCACAF and CONMEBOL

      CONCACAF stands for Confederation of North, Central  American and CarribeanAssociation Football   .It is the administrative body of football for North American,Central American and Carribean countries.At present it consists of 40 members.(countries like United states,Mexico,Canada,Panama,Jamaica,etc.) It was founded in 1969 and its headquater is situated at Miami,United States.Jeffrey Webb is the present president of CONCACAF.It was formed by merging NAFC and CCCF.

           The South American Football Confederation commonly known as CONMEBOL is the continental governing body of football South American countries.It was formed on 9^th july 1916.At present it has only 10 member associations.Its headquater is located at Luque,Paraguay.Current president of CONMEBOL is Engenio Figueredo.

       Copa America and Copa Santandar Liberotodoris are the major tournaments organised by CONMEBOL.It uses Spanish and Portuguese language as its official language.
