UEFA

       UEFA stands for Union of European Football Association.UEFA is the administrative body for association football in European region.Its comprises of 54 european countries as its member.It was founded on 15^th june 1954 in Basel.But its headquater is situated at Nyon,Switzerland.Present president of UEFA is Michel Platini of france.

            It represents the national football association of Europe and runs national and club competitions  that includes UEFA European Cup,UEFA Champions League,UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.UEFA also controls the prize money,regulations and media rights to those competitions.As like FIFA,it also awards the best player of year in both men and women section with “European Player of the Year.”

         FIFA,the governing body of world football is the parent organization of UEFA.UEFA also uses English,French and German language as its official language.Its  main organ is UEFA Congress.
